The last two weeks we have taken a quick look at our vision for Breathe Ministry. We hope by now you are finding yourself more comfortable with our layout, our blog posts, and the ministry we are aiming to accomplish. God has been faithful to supply all of the resources and necessary people to launch in the past month, and we are excited to look at the last core value together: Equipping for Service.
As a review:
Breathe Ministry’s whole focus is to breathe new life into the heart of a ministry wife. This is accomplished by providing avenues for women in ministry to Engage in Togetherness, Encourage Christlikeness, and Equip for Service. The avenues we use to engage, encourage, and equip are through an online community growing together through our blog, threads, resources, and one day mini conference, “A Day to Breathe”.
Let’s face it; there are just some things they don’t teach you at school. We understand that the demands and situations you face in ministry are just not covered in the core curriculum when studying to be a supportive ministry wife. At Breathe, we want to provide useful resources to keep you fresh, up to date, and passionate about teaching and building into your ministry. Maybe one week we’ll talk about great object lessons to use while teaching, while another week we may do a book review! Staying up on what’s out there will greatly help and encourage your ideas, lesson plans, and ways to connect with those in your ministry.
Have an idea to share with others? Consider filling out the connect form and telling us about it. Or maybe you’ve read a great book that has really been a blessing…consider posting your comments on our Equip Page. We are not in this alone. We can benefit so much from the resources that others are using. Check back often on the Equip page for ideas, resource suggestions, and what’s new in the field of church ministry. Breathe Ministry wants to create an avenue that will inspire, refresh, and encourage you to be more passionate about the ministry you serve!
Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever.
