Special Christmas Traditions, Stories and Recipes

I love going to a friends house where they celebrate certain traditions. It makes me feel like I am part of the family. Most of the time it ends up being interesting, fun or loving. Maybe you have certain traditions that you do with your family. Therefore, this month we are going to bring you some special Christmas traditions, stories and recipes from women just like you.

My name is Colleen

I have been a pastor’s wife since I have been married. That would be 23 years. In 23 years, my husband and I have set up certain traditions in our family that have lasted to this day. Those  traditions might have changed as the years went on but they became dearer to us.

Christmas Tradition:

Each Christmas eve, we attend a Christmas eve service. Then we go home to make dinner and open one present. (which is Christmas PJs). Lastly we watch a Christmas movie as a family.

Christmas Story:

I love all the things that come with Christmas past and presents. One year I got to go out with my two girls and a group of friends to carol in a neighborhood. We dressed in our warm clothes with coats, gloves, hats and scarves. We sang in a neighborhood with many that were retired. It was so cool to bless those families but we were so blessed by the opportunity to sing that night.

I hope you will join us either on our website www.breatheministry.com or our Facebook page Breathe Ministry. So each Wednesday and Friday we will  bring you some special Christmas traditions, stories and recipes from women just like you.
